Abstract

Entre 1225 y 1250 se jugó el destino de Andalucía. Nada de lo que los andaluces han sido y han aportado al resto de España y al mundo hubiese sido posible sin el giro decisivo que entonces se produjo. Ninguno de los rasgos de nuestra cultura actual, que tanto nos caracteriza y presenta elementos tan brillantes como singulares, hubiera surgido sin aquel cambio histórico que devolvió al valle del Guadalquivir a la cristiandad, es decir, a la civilización europea.
