Promotion of people with intelectual disabilities through the deveploment of socially inclusive short film. Iniciatives to Educational and Teaching Innovation. pp. 320 - 325. Dykinson, 2023978-84-1170-452-6http://hdl.handle.net/10637/16098Against bullying is an inter‐facultative project that aims to promote the inclusion and social participation of people with intellectual disabilities in the university community by developing the script and recording a short film. Students with and without cognitive disabilities participated in inclusive classes. A total of 102 students from three different faculties of the USP‐CEU participated: 1) the Universal Accessibility Consultant Course for people with mild intellectual disability (Polytechnic School), 2) Degree of Psychology (School of Medicine) and 3) Degree in Audiovisual Communication (School of Humanities). We used Learning by doing and Critical thinking methodologies. All students, with and without intellectual disabilities, participated in all the stages. Students chose bullying as the main topic to develop in the short film. The development of short films favors the acquisition of significant experiences by allowing students to be co‐participants in the choice of the subject, planning, production and understanding of this experience. Results showed high levels of satisfaction. Students also perceived their erroneous beliefs and prejudices towards people with intellectual disabilities decreased. This experience has allowed recognizing the different capacities that everyone has, thus favoring values related to inclusion, commitment and social participationenrestricted accessShort filmIntellectual disabilitiesPrejudicesLearning by doingPromotion of people with intelectual  disabilities through the deveploment of socially inclusive short filmCapítulohttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/deed.es
