Tim Burton creó los antecedentes de su característico estilo cinematográfico en sus cortometrajes

Abstract

En 2012 se cumplió el treinta aniversario del inicio de la carrera cinematográfica del director norteamericano Tim Burton. El presente artículo constituye un breve estudio sobre sus dos primeros trabajos, los cortometrajes Vincent, 1982 y Frankenweenie, 1984. Al realizar un análisis comparativo entre estos dos incipientes trabajos y sus películas posteriores parece constatarse que la semilla del cine burtoniano fue sembrada en estos cortometrajes, ya que ambos recogen en gran medida la esencia cinematográfica del director de Burbank.

In 2012 was the thirtieth anniversary of the Tim Burton´s career beginning as a filmmarker. This article is a brief study about the two early works of Tim Burton: Vincent, 1982 and Frankenweenie, 1984. In a comparative study between these two initial films and work ups, it seems that the seed of Burton´s cinema was planted in these two shortfilms, as both largely reflected the essence of Burbank´s director films.
