El cuerpo y la danza: Valéry and Galván

Abstract

La danza es una manera estética de habitar el mundo. Esa es la conclusión primera de este texto. Este morar acontece a través del cuerpo que, cuando se mueve, da sentido al mundo que con él aparece. Esos movimientos están compuestos, en proporciones siempre distintas, de acciones reflejas, naturales y acciones reflexivas, humanas. Por tanto, el texto reflexiona sobre la danza como otra manera de estar en el mundo a través de un cuerpo, que se vuelve protagonista. Para acompañar la pregunta sobre el cuerpo y la danza se invita al flamenco que ayuda, con hondura, a entender ciertas ideas expuestas

Dance is an aesthetic way of inhabiting the world. That is the first conclusion of this text. This dwelling occurs through the body, which, when moving, gives sense to the world it appears with. Those movements comprise, in ever-changing proportions, natural reflex actions and reflexive human actions. Therefore, the text contemplates dance as another way to be in the world through a body, which becomes the protagonist. To accompany the question about the body and dance, an invitation is made to flamenco, which strongly aids in the understanding of certain ideas exposed.
