Abstract

Sobre Madrid José Antonio Corrales escribiría 14 poemas. La tierra enfrentada con su cielo será la esencia de su paisaje. Si el cielo y su panorama representan la levedad, mutabilidad y movimiento, la tierra y su paisaje sus opuestos. Corrales discurrirá simultáneo, entre ambos sin prescindir de ninguno. Se presentan aquí siete de estos poemas, algunos inéditos. También dos viviendas para esta ciudad, cuya documentación nunca publicada se muestra como reflejo de estos versos. Proyectadas entre 1966 y 1967, manifiestan la misma dualidad simultánea cuyo resultado se revela como signo de identidad de su arquitectura. En ellas, la sección se va abriendo paso, ligera en su diálogo con la tierra.

If the sky and its panorama represent lightness, mutability and movement, the earth and its landscape are their opposites. Corrales will run simultaneously, between the two without dispensing with any. Seven of these poems are presented here, some of them unpublished, two houses for this city, whose documentation was never published is shown as a reflection of these verses. Projected between 1966 and 1967, they manifest the same simultaneous duality whose result is revealed as a sign of identity of his architecture.
