María Teresa García Nieto. Associate Professor, has been the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Information Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid and Director of the degree in Audiovisual Communication in the Higher Ed-ucation studies Felipe II of the same university. Her research has been recognised by the CNEAI and she combines her teaching and research with consultation work and a communication consultancy. Professor García Nieto has been and still is the principle researcher in several projects of both research and educational innovation. She has directed numerous doctoral theses, two of which have received distinctions, as well as PhD research and masters dissertations in various universities, both national and international. She is on numerous scientific committees for international conferences and editorial committees of several indexed academic journals. She is also a member of the Committee for University Degree Assessment, in the area of Social Sciences, for the Agencies for Quality in University System in several regions of Spain.
